At LoMa Speech & Language, we provide compassionate, results-driven therapy rooted in current research and personalized care. Our approach integrates traditional speech-language pathology practices with advanced orofacial myofunctional therapy to support the whole child or adult.

We work closely with ENTs, orthodontists, dentists, lactation consultants, pediatricians, and occupational therapists to ensure cohesive care, particularly for her clients receiving orofacial myofunctional therapy.

Education and home carryover are also key. We actively involve families in the process and equip them with tools and strategies to support progress outside of their sessions.

Evaluations to Get to the Root of the Issue

Evaluations

At LoMa Speech & Language, we believe that effective therapy starts with a comprehensive, individualized evaluation. Whether you're seeking support for speech, swallowing or orofacial myofunctional concerns, our process is designed to uncover the root cause and create a clear path forward.

Evaluations typically last 60–90 minutes and include an intake interview, formal assessments, an oral mechanism examination, and a comprehensive speech and/or feeding/swallowing evaluation. A credit card is required on file at the time of scheduling.

Preliminary results will be discussed at the end of the evaluation, and a detailed written report will be provided within three weeks. Intake paperwork must be completed before an evaluation can be scheduled.

Our Specialties

Pediatric Speech Therapy

At LoMa Speech & Language, we focus on oral motor therapy that targets the root cases of unclear speech: jaw instability, tongue restriction or weakness, low oral awareness, and poor coordination between articulators. Therapy may focus on the strength, coordination, and awareness of the muscles needed for speech and feeding. These skills are essential for producing sounds like /t/, /d/, /l/, /n/, and even early bilabials like /p/ and /b/.

Therapy is fun, functional, and family-centered—designed to empower caregivers and support progress at home, school, and beyond.
