Helpful Information

Billing & Insurance

We are a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Coverage for speech and language therapy varies by insurance plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to inquire about out-of-network benefits and reimbursement procedures.

Payment is due at the time of service, and a credit card must be on file prior to your evaluation or therapy session. We accept cash or Venmo as payment as well.

During your assessment, we will provide individualized coding. The most commonly used procedural codes are as follows:

  • 92610: Evaluation of oral swallowing function

  • 92523 Evaluation of speech and language

  • 92526: Treatment of swallowing dysfunction and/or oral function for feeding

  • 92507: Speech therapy

Referrals

We welcome referrals from parents, caregivers, pediatricians, dentists, orthodontists, ENTs, educators, and other professionals who have concerns about a child’s speech, language, or oral-motor development.

If you are concerned about:

  • Speech clarity or articulation

  • Delayed language development (expressive or receptive)

  • Social communication or pragmatic language

  • Stuttering or fluency issues

  • Voice concerns (e.g., hoarseness, vocal strain)

  • Oral habits affecting speech (e.g., thumb sucking, open mouth posture)

  • Myofunctional issues (e.g., tongue thrust, mouth breathing, tethered oral tissue)

  • Feeding difficulties or picky eating

…our practice is here to support you and your clients.
